What should I do if my injuries are not very serious or the damage to my cycle / motorbike and / or equipement is minimal?

You may be surprised at how much compensation you could be entitled to.

The value of your injuries is decided by the type of injury sustained and for how long you are expected to suffer the accident-related symptoms.  If you have already recovered, the value will be based on how long they lasted.

In successful cases where your injuries attract a value of over £1000, the other party has to pay your legal fees and you would therefore not have to pay anything out of your compensation.

We obtain a medical report from an appropriate medical expert who will examine you and report on how long your symptoms lasted or how long the symptoms are likely to last. 

As a rule of thumb, if your symptoms lasted or are likely to last less than 6 weeks, then your claim will probably be a small claim.
